hey! i never had this until today and today when i had it it was because my pds was down and giving a cloudflare error

could it all be "happened to be down at that time"? i'm not too sure

mine was a lot easier to notice because it was not a bsky pbc pds

wait actually i just disabled an account and the client logged me out of every other account i was logged into

unfortunately that’s what the “logout” button does these days. i too find it very confusing

yep, on my phone if I suddenly lose a network connection and reopen the app I have to login again sometimes. iOS on the official Bluesky client.

Tends to happen to me whenever my internet connection is spotty on app launch.

I don't know what counts as "random", but I've had to log in at times I didn't expect it.

This happens to me on mobile if my phone is in an area without signal and then regains a network connection. Relaunching the app seems to fix it.

I sometimes get it but not in the last few weeks. It often seems to happen if I open the app when I have a bad internet connection. (Fine to opt me in to the logging)

every couple of days - I'll give up my precious logfiles for the cause

This happens when I try to open the app without an internet connection. Like if I try to read it in an elevator, I’ll need to log back in when the doors open.

Yup Interestingly, I was logged in normally, then physically moved to a different location with a different wi-fi network and was not logged in, then moved back to my normal network and was logged back in. I didn't manually log in during that process.

there’s something about Safari clearing its internal storage that might just be a browser bug. but are there other sites you don’t get logged out of?

Bluesky is the only one that will log me out on every refresh. I also get logged out of Google accounts but not on every subsequent refresh. So it not just Bluesky but the impact on Bluesky is more severe.

Also it comes in waves. It's still doing it right now (i.e. logging me out on refresh where other sites are not) but at some point it will stop and I'll be able to refresh without it logging me out.
