Good point -- the Times opinion section is separate, and is often in conversation w each other, using columns to respond & build upon arguments that others have made. It gives readers a broad overview of perspectives on an issue, in this case Trump's unfitness for office. Let's see how it's going!

The NYTs internal rules and regulation are irrelevant. The constant bombardment of nasty snippets abt Biden do not get erased by the indulgence bought by a single "flagship" article. The two are aimed at different audiences, and the snippets make by far the greatest diffence.
