New idea to get the message out: Weird Al records a parody of "In the Year 2525" but it's "In Project 2025" and it's a list of all of the horrifying possibilities of a second Trump administration.

Todays random Hirschfeld is this wonderful handbill from 1943. The drum seen here was Hirschfeld’s, a 7 foot Haitian drum that Dunham liked so much she asked to take it on tour.

Christmas week on Broadway in 1940 was quite an embarrassment of riches. Gene Kelly in Rodger & Harts PAL JOEY. Bojangles, MY SISTER EILEEN , Jane Cowl, Shirley Booth, Jack Guilford, Paul & Ruth Draper. Who would see first?

Here’s a last minute Christmas gift idea: buy a pair (or more) of tickets to a regional theatre production or live music venue for friends and/or family. The theaters need the support and people need to get back into the habit of seeing shows. A twofer.
