Watching a crow drink water out of the shiny metal dog bowl someone left at the end of their driveway, yes, this is kind of fun.

Now I know how I really feel about the US election because I can't stop sobbing at the news that the left won the election in France. We are so so far from this in the US and yet, if those on the so-called left would just abandon the Democratic party we would be so much closer.

Instead we just have abandonment after abandonment. Every four years, more abandonment, as the downward spiral continues and now we are so far down at the bottom that it's hard to imagine anything else except more abandonment, more complicity, more violence, more brutality.

The candidate of genocide or the candidate that says finish the job already, obviously this is not a choice. And this is where the Democratic party always takes us. What would it take to let go.

Just saw a headline that calls Helen Frankenthaler "the Georgia O'Keeffe of abstract art," and I... have no idea what this means.

“AI” is the culmination of the tech industry. Every time you use it, you destroy the environment, erode labor protections, endanger workers overseas, enrich the ruling class, and make something unforgivably worthless, all at the same time – and it's all hidden from you in a frictionless distraction.
