I just put together how "boy" fit fine because gender rules were largely and purposefully not enforced, but for my entire adult life pre-transition I always felt like I'd just somehow never Matured and so I chased Manhood for years. It took succeeding to know that wasn't the problem

Ich durfte diese Woche mit meiner Freundin und ihren Kindern einkaufen gehen und ich bin immernoch so unglaublich glücklich über die Blicke von den Leuten die einfach nicht abstreiten konnten das wir uns gut um die Kids kümmern. Amazing feeling.

Hey...wtf is the Acolyte. There was a scene in which the protagonist tries to fool someone and it literally plays like a scene in a PnP campaign where the DM needs the player to succeed so the story progresses. This has writers strike written all over it holy moly.

Uuh that's a fascinating thought. I feel like for me for the character this name was connected to it worked well, even shaped the presentation. I even considered going with an abbreviation of the name for a while. But bottom line, for who I am now it is something that seems absurd as a name.

I love how trans folk will occasionally share our deadnames with each other and sort of have this mutual conversation of "Your parents named you... what?? No. Honey, no, that was never you." Because yeah, we rarely ever fit those names in any way and often they're just WRONG
