Toying with deleting all the content from my X/Twitter account, so I downloaded an archive of all my data. Here are some interesting stats from it, including more posted below 👇. 4,914 tweets posted. Also had 1,127 followers and following 525 people. More in 🧵.

This remains my proudest post on Twitter. The day of #ArlingtonVA's big vote for #MissingMiddle in 2023 I arrive early, but a local NIMBY org was there w/ their signs trying to reserve spots. The picture was perfect, as noted by @mnolangray.bsky.social, @alongthepike.com, & @welcomingneighbors.us.

3/ Another fun thing I was able to do on Twitter was release an exposé on totally-not-a-secret-Republican Josh Katcher, candidate for Commonwealth Attorney. This was weeks of chasing down rumors & spending hundreds of dollars but revealed his repeated use of the N-word in public trial.

Oh snap I didn't know Substack (kinda) integrates with Bluesky, allowing users to create Bluesky accounts with a *.substack.com domain.

A trip to Old Navy to buy some much-needed summer clothes, browsing Best Buy to oggle the new Surface Pro computers, then treating myself at Chick-fil-A & Cold Stone for an ice cream. It was a good day after not allowing myself to splurge for many months.

Dammit. I wasn't paying attention in Clarendon station and got on the Silver instead of the Orange to Vienna. Didn't realize my mistake until I saw the highrises of Tysons out the train window. *sigh* now I'm going to be late to class instead of 40 minutes early.

The 'Arlington VA' feed is doing really well usage-wise since I started investing more effort into it a month ago & shut down the old one. Thank you to everyone using it! Keep up the work and engaging with neighbors you find through it: liking their posts, commenting, & being positive. 🙏

I'm back working on the "Arlington VA" feed after being busy w/ life. Pulls from 90+ local Arlingtonians (30% regularly active!). Prioritizes original posts but now also some random replies so even #QuietPosters show up. Also looks for keywords of neighborhood names & local websites. Sub & use it!

I only had a discounted student plan & I enjoyed some reporting, but I'm happy to cancel my subscription with the @nytimes.com over its horrible anti-trans and anti-democracy positions. Happy Independence Day, y'all! 🥳🥳🍾💥💥

I had no idea what you were talking about, but a web search now has me laughing! Unfortunately it's not the same mug, since mine doesn't have the white band around the rim.

So I picked up a Reese's branded coffee cup off my local Buy Nothing group. The picture made it look like a normal size, but.. uhhhh... it's not. I estimate it's x4 a regular mug. ☕☕☕☕
