I learned today that there are no regulations for food served in shelters, beyond safe and sanitary, except for food funded by the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).

I’m starting a feel dive on food at homeless shelters and food insecurity. Please let me know if you have expertise or lived experience (if comfortable sharing!) or know of resources—links, authors, books, articles. Thanks! DM or Discord (danboleo) if you don’t want to share here.

I'm back working on the "Arlington VA" feed after being busy w/ life. Pulls from 90+ local Arlingtonians (30% regularly active!). Prioritizes original posts but now also some random replies so even #QuietPosters show up. Also looks for keywords of neighborhood names & local websites. Sub & use it!

For me, GGG has to go from the USMNT because of his poor judgment. The Gio situation during and after the last WC was inexcusable. Showing his players the Bolivia score during the last match was poor judgment as well. He doesn’t make great decisions.

The Heritage Foundation is absolutely making overt terrorist threats and everyone you know needs to be aware of this.

Notice how everyone is somehow talking about Biden Too Old right now, and NOT about how the Supreme Court just legalized Trump being a dictator for life and gutted the administrative state, and how the Heritage Foundation is now issuing terrorist threats? Think that might not be an accident?

That part isn't the disinfo part. It's the chaos and rumormongering that is going to be used to get Mike fucking Johnson etc. into power once they push Kamala Harris out of the line of succession. It's also being used to distract everyone from mounting a coordinated response to the Supreme Court
