I'm old enough to remember a media that in 1992 treated the defining story of the whole RNC as being the terrifying extremism of Pat Buchanan, who was not the nominee or VP nominee but GHWB's defeated rival. And that was for a level of extremism that Trump or Vance tweet out before breakfast.

It’s one thing to wish him well and denounce violence. Assigning him “grace” and “courage” when his handlers are out there blaming this on Biden and Dems? Somebody really doesn’t want to pay a billionaire’s tax.

No one in America has done more to normalize the idea of political violence than the man who was the target of it tonight. There is no contradiction in deploring what happened and saying that any Republican who supports Trump has forfeited the right to be heard on the subject.

Per Brian Stelter, Sean Hannity îs anchoring Fox News coverage of the shooting at the Trump rally, while at MSNBC, they've dumped their normal hosts in favor of NBC News coverage. Yet another proof point that MSNBC is, by no means, the "lefty" version of Fox News and that Fox News is not real news
