we have this neighborhood ginger tabby cat who is so excited to get pets through a window (lol) and we call him oscar. every night we go to see if he's by the window and if not, we tap the glass and he comes running. i'll try to get a picture of him sometime soon so y'all can see how cute he is.

I think the various cis freakouts over the past few weeks show that it's cis people who are actually incredibly sensitive to conversations around gender. They ultimately don't view us as people, simply as rhetorical tools or sideshow curiosities to indulge. Our speech registers as terrifying.

there's something to be said about how effective the conservative "trannies are all hyper sensitive unstable freaks ready to explode about Pronouns" propaganda is that even liberals overreact out of fear when receiving the most minor pushback from trans people.
