The casino didn't go broke so much as it was busted out (Trump and cronies collecting huge salaries and licensing fees while the corporation was hollowed out).
To be fair, his one presidential term was also characterized by bungling a national crisis so badly that he killed more Americans than the Civil War and almost wrecked the global economy
