Happy 69th anniversary to #Disneyland

I have a card to three different library systems in LA and nine books checked out. I love that I can walk to a library from my apt. They have neat programs there too like mindfulness meditation, CA native plants, yoga, even a sculpting workshop.

If you want access to free books, please get a library card. In the US, the more people there are with library cards, the more funding libraries have access to. Libraries provide more than books. They are a community resource. As an author and reader, I support libraries! #books #libraries

We should start naming heat domes like we do with hurricanes but after the people most responsible for making them worse (like the CEOs of fossil fuel companies and politicians denying climate change and rolling back environmental regulations), then make them comp your electric bill for its duration

Where is your thermostat set during the summer? We have our Nest at the eco 76°F during the day but I wake up with a headache if it’s higher than 74 overnight.

Rainbow Labs kicked off “One Bold Summer” 2024 programming 🌈🧑🏼‍🔬 I cannot say enough good things about the leaders, partners, fellow mentors and of course the youth. It’s an incredible group of bright kind souls and I’m thrilled to be a part of it!

Looks like my prediction came true! Can’t wait to see it for myself.

It "feels" like Inside Out 2 will do big business in theaters but then again I see almost no ads in my media diet and my only marketing exposure is whether I see the bus shelter poster when I pass by the Disney studio in Burbank on my weekly trip to ALDI

Allium intolerance saps the fun out of dining out. Even when I request no onion/garlic, it's either ignored so I have to pick them out by hand, or hidden in some other part of the dish. Most dressings, sauces, soups, pre-seasoned meat or anything with the word "spicy" is off-limits. It's a nightmare

ok that’s enough ally for today

It's kind of a snooze, but maybe that's just WDW's log flume which has a pace I'd describe as plodding. Disney refuses to make more than 15 animatronics for their E-tickets now which is just baffling. CG renders of traditionally animated characters should be automatically disqualifying.
