I'll say more about this in my newsletter today but the "tempers flare" narrative on supposed acrimony between Trump and anti-abortion GOPers is not a secret fight that the press has exposed. It's a performance meant to reassure anti-abortion voters that Trump will do what they want.

I will just note that at least 3 times, people have defended this New York Times article to me, and 3 times I have responded to them by noting that the Times sought comment from Britt's team but not from Biden's, and 3 times those people have then ... just disappeared, refusing to acknowledge it.

Hilariously, the Times 1) helpfully types up Katie Britt’s talking points about Biden being old 2) Notes that it reached out to Katie Britt’s staff for comment about Katie Britt’s talking points attacking Biden … but did not reach out to Biden’s team for a response.
