Truly amazing how hard it can be to spot this bright yellow bird with an extremely loud voice amid the swampy undergrowth. (Also a great example of a bird I was really excited to find because I knew it from Wingspan. 8 points!)
Nice pic! They are hard to capture. Very early in my birding experience, I saw several Paws while fishing in Chicot Lake near Ville Platte, LA. Told fishing bud it was a “Promonthory warbler”. 😂 Also misidentified a juvie green heron as a least bittern. Ski-yok!
