A response! I’m told that my prescriptions have been sent to the pharmacy. Nothing visible in the pharmacy app yet, but the app kinda sucks so maybe its just not updating very quickly. 🤞

Called the psychiatry clinic about my prescription again today, leaving a very pathetic voicemail. Idk what I can do other than keep calling 😕 I feel like I’m wasting my entire week off because I can’t focus on anything and it’s so, so frustrating.

Called the on-call number again. They said they will message my new psychiatrist (whoever that is) this time. Welcome to the first day of your residency program, you’ve already got a patient having a meltdown!

The June/July medical resident turnover fucking sucks. I’m out of some meds because the graduating psychiatrist only put in a month’s worth of prescriptions instead of the usual 3 months. And usually I don’t get a call from the new psychiatrist to set up the intake appointment until mid-August.

Some of my truck’s electrical systems get flaky in high temperatures. Mostly this means the stereo acts possessed. I’d forgotten that sometimes it also means the AC won’t start. 😬 It came back on after a couple of potholes, though, and luckily those are plentiful in Tucson.

It’s my workout nemesis, GLUTE.

Most weight machines at the gym have a verb in the name. “Leg Curl”, “Chest Press,” etc. And then there is one just labeled “Glute”. Glute what?! And why is it so tall that the user’s butt is awkwardly at eye-level? People go and look at the instructional diagrams, but they never use it.

Sometimes the grass touches you and no amount of allergy medication is enough.

So annoying how making healthier choices in one area of your life forces you to do better at other things, too. I started exercising recently, and now my body has suddenly gotten very insistent about regular sleep and meals. Not fair 😫

Well, it finally happened. After years of carelessly leaving knitting needles lying around, I actually impaled myself. The sensation was more unsettling than painful. the popping sound was probably the most disturbing part.

I know most events aren’t COVID cautious any more, but it’s still frustrating when a “masks required” event has maybe 10% of attendees masking (most staff are not masking either) Mask requirements are accessibility information. Don’t promise it if you can’t or won’t actually implement it.
