You can still get the time via phone from the National Research Council. Until recently it was also broadcast once a day on the CBC, but, due to digital network delays, it was always several seconds late, and was discontinued. nrc.canada.ca/en/certifica...

I ♥️ the use a list for block or mute feature. A couple of people I follow have made their lists public. I subscribed and set them for block. Voila. Distributed, sharable block management.
