The sheer amounts of sarcasm from @catsofyore.bsky.social summoned me and I felt forced to post this picture of my monster. Almost 16 years I've suffered with this inferior creature in my home.
And then there's baby crows. By way of background, baby crows often leave the nest a couple of days before they can fly. This strikes me as an exceptionally bad idea, but it's what they do.
Personally, I like to talk to them. I have no idea whether this helps or not. But I treat each one with dignity, greet them when I see them, explain what I'm doing as I'm getting out a treat, ask them how their days have been, that sort of thing. (8/n)
