JFC … this is such a stupid timeline. This is not a “single” person. A process failed. Crowdstrike right now is asking itself where in the validation process missed this and how to prevent in the future.

Venue aside - HOPE had some of the best talks I’ve heard in a while. And even with the initial pains - they appeared much better organized than in prior years.

Star Wars nerds completely missing the point of the prequels and getting upset over the Acolyte is just increasing my enjoyment of the new series. Last nights episode was excellent.

What’s somewhat interesting about this scam is that it’s clear they have a ton of my personal information but couldn’t figure out I don’t have college debt. Which is trivial to figure out. (my very brief collage experience was paid in cash upfront)

Like all types of AI - things will settle down and LLM will find niche use cases. The law will not be one of them. I just wish people would spend a few minutes to bother learning the basics of a field before declaring that a tool or feature will work in that field
