2 of the top 3 candidates for the US presidency have shown a repeated willingness to believe any conspiracy dangled in front of them like a set of keys, including wildly anti-american ones, which are straightforward cognitive deficiencies for what we should demand in a president. neither are biden.
if this was really about who is mentally fit to be president, trump and RFK, jr. have both, repeatedly, over many years in public life, demonstrated that they’re incapable of working through logical patterns of thought or process to establish the veracity of outlandish claims. seems important.
The great thing about American media is that they consider it a duty to speculate endlessly on superficial concerns as if they are consequential, but raising concerns over consequential issues would be biased so they have to pretend that they’re superficial 🤙🤙🤙
I like the "dangled in front of them like a set of keys" analogy. It's also worth noting that both are wealthy failsons and rapists (proven with Trump, alleged but likely with RFK Jr.)
Tangent, but been thinking again about college/grad attainment in different states (it breaks down exactly how you think it would). But also means large swaths of state where the media literacy is gonna be much lower. The understanding of primary sources in Maryland vs Nebraska is massive.
I had to unfollow a guy I used to be friendly with before he moved to Cali - not only has he gone full RFK-stan, but his instagram feed is now "co-posted" by the RFK campaign. I'm mostly disappointed that he turned out to be so dumb.
