No, not exactly. The GOP ARE doing a full-court press on those issues, but in the courts, one by one those laws are failing, and they just might be facing an apocalypse in the house and senate.
But yeah, it's terrifying what they're doing. It's like they've given up on being human.
The ideas are old, yeah. The sheer venom behind things? No, that's new. It's stopped being a political thing and become personal. They KNOW they're wrong, most of them. But they can't back off without admitting it... And that's the problem.
Well... That assumes there'll be anyone left ALIVE on the other side, to turn their attention... O.o
