My #ttrpg#dragonbane heroes are closing in on the start of #Snowsaga, a campaign for #Trudvang. Although I over-prep, I enjoy the process whilst doing it, so I tell myself that it is all good.
Providing rich information access to players is another thing that @foundryvtt.bsky.social excels at.
Something I urge everyone to do is create their own website. Doesn't matter how, whether you pay a host or set up something small (and very limited) for free; it's worth the effort. Social media platforms get the traffic, sure, but that ship is leaky. A website is a lifeboat.
people dunk on tiktok kids for saying "unaliving" and "seggs" and so on due to censorship on the platform, but idk, I find something that there is something oddly hopeful in seeing every attempt to censor language circumvented by the infinite human capacity for euphemism
i hate to have one of these at all but my big "WE DRANK FROM THE HOSE" opinion is that people younger than millennials really can't imagine what coming of age in a time of media scarcity meant - like, I would read about records and movies and not actually be able to see them for YEARS
