On political matters, Evangelicals have been taking their queues from Catholic Church activists for a generation, and together they have become more conservative as they have gained political power. 7 of 9 justices on the Supreme Court are Catholic. It’s about power. It has never been about faith.
That’s not my claim. I anticipate a regime that outlaw no-fault divorce and birth control almost immediately. Once those laws are in place, we will see the primacy of the male head of household promoted in here-to-fore unconstitutional state laws that effectively make wives their husbands’ property.
I have some familiarity with Cottonwood, in Tucson, but not Calvary. These facilities really work, but they are very costly, and medical insurance companies won't touch them. A quandary.
It was great back then, at the old location. The food was very good, and the grounds were gorgeous. The old location was taken over by Miraval Resorts, and the rehab moved across the road. My wife happens to be going to Miraval tomorrow.
