Just noting that these not-quite-so-old-white-guys telling Biden to drop out are all hitting their 60s and might be realizing they are, in fact, getting older (like Biden): Clooney 63; Stephanoupolos 63; Kristof 65; Colbert 60

Fair point. But still doubt NYC would've elected a woman. As with NY governorship, I fear women will only land in some of these offices when a corrupt male is finally removed* — truly hope I'm wrong. *Analogy doesn't apply to current presidential situation in terms of corruption, but same concept.

I'd like to believe, but I'm a bit jaded by observing recent voting outcomes in New York City. My fellow New Yorkers ignored more than one highly capable female mayoral candidate in favor of a male who is demonstrating an array of corruption... That's New York, what happens in swing states?

I'm sorry I went and looked for what you're talking about...

I'm still trying to figure out who the "replace him!" crowd believes guarantees a win and warrants the current level of insufferable complaining about the guy that beat Trump last time.

Or is it the foreign bots posing as Trump supporters that are missing?

Thanks for posting this. I'm a bit surprised this has been reported on so soon...seems like the type of info that typically comes out much later.

I'm suspicious of any opinion that needs to be prefaced by, "If the presidential election were held today,"

All wearing their glasses like good scientists 😂

I used to do image search for textbook use, and I'm sure stock photos play into your results. In addition to the details you've called out, I think photographers' assistants must hand every model a pair of glasses that AI apparently seems to identify as "scientific" as well.

This clearly sucks on a surface level, but that it's also clearly reflective of the stereotypes that impact everyday life is discouraging and challenging.

Yes, but when I saw these posts, I had a flashback to him announcing he was planning to run for president — had a sense of duty or some such about it. LOL

But after paying his E. Jean Carroll bond, can't you just hear the garbled conversation he had with his lawyers about who HE could sue for defamation?

Yeah, no. Can'd do the "marshmallow" bits. But thanks for suggesting a replacement. Cap'n Crunch was another special cereal — has provided the appropriate nostalgia hit a few times for me.

I miss Alpha-Bits. We didn't have them very often, but I loved 'em.

Yeah, seems like Republicans have pretty much always completely misread the majority of the public's attitude toward abortion rights. I hope you're right about that being what it takes to sink him.

Yes—but also there is a very basic factor that affected this trial: Judge Erdogan got played by Trump, just like Trump plays everyone he can (case in point: media for most of his term in office). Good news is that, like the media, the next judge who sees Trump will be better prepared to counteract.

The NYT recipe? Quite the disappointment...

My father delivered flowers after he retired from his fulltime job and needed supplemental income. Some independence while driving around, but he liked interacting with the people he worked with as well as people receiving the flowers (mostly happy, although funeral flowers are part of the gig...)

I discovered Hallmark's "Happy & Friends" Yule Logs (on demand). Old good, instrumental stuff—only vocals are a few like a truncated "Hallelujah Chorus" and "Joy to the World" (none of the cheesy vocals that the PIX Yule Log includes). Two versions — mostly the same music put together fairly well.
