Was their coverage pretty pro-Tory in the election lead up? I don't know since I cancelled my subscription as the signal to noise ratio on their content went to shit & they started appearing like yet another click bait org especially on "culture war" (a better term isn't coming to mind) issues

Maybe also the BBC? I am not in the UK so I don't see them much. That means this could be hilariously wrong. But they always seem sincere and have Very Serious Accents. 😁

Maybe the US media will take a step back from narrative creation now. JK they’re largely incapable of that level of internal reflection.

Of course they do - like any foreign media, but I don't consider them "US media". It's HQ is in London.

So embarrassed to admit that we had subscriptions to both The Economist and WSJ for many years. I know 2015 when Murdoch started getting more hands on was the breaking point for WSJ but I think we kept The Economist another year. I just don't remember them being so BS crazy before that.
