There are good arguments for why metric is better than imperial but not for Celsius vs Fahrenheit. Fahrenheit is just objectively better. Celsius has to use decimals to achieve the same granularity.

if the only temperatures Celsius uses for European outdoor temperatures are ~0-20 and Fahrenheit uses 0-100 for America outdoor temperatures, Fahrenheit can get away with more rounding to whole numbers and Celcius has to use decimals

Technically yes, practically nobody cares about rounding Celsius if 1 degree difference is not felt. Then both scales use negative numbers and that's annoying. We all just use Kelwin.

I lived in the USA for over 20 years and I still don’t know Fahrenheit. I also found the month/day/year thing to go against the grain so I used year/month/day instead. ☺️

Fahrenheit just makes sense when talking about weather. It’s like a percentage of how hot it is. 100 deg is 100% hot, which as we all know is way too hot.

By the way, your metric system fact for today is that it's just "kelvins." Not "degrees kelvin." Water boils at 373 kelvins (note the S). One kelvin (no S 'cause it's singular!) is equal to one degree Celsius.
