The thing I'm worried about - aside from more violence - is Democrats losing momentum on pushing back on Project 2025 now because of decorum or whatever. I don't know how much they were really leading the charge there, but it works better if the Biden campaign keeps bringing it up.

MAYBE in a different country, a shooting like this could have a significant effect on an election But decades of random mass shootings on a regular basis has numbed most Americans. We've become accustomed to saying, "that's a shame" and moving on with our lives That's the country the GOP made
It's starting to seem like this was just another random mass shooting by a white guy with an AR-15 Butler, PA on a random mid-July day with a big crowd. It could've been a concert or fair or baseball game instead

Teddy Roosevelt was shot while giving a speech 3 weeks before the 1912 election, was so fucking tough that he *stayed to finish the speech* and then lost to Woodrow Wilson 435 electoral votes to 88
George Wallace was literally put in a wheelchair by his attempted assassination and he still lost

Friends, please remember that 18 U.S.C. § 879 makes it a federal crime to threaten to inflict bodily harm on a former president of the united states. Nothing you want to post right now is worth the criminal exposure.

Hi, friends! I know that any time arsenic or lead come up in studies, it’s concerning! However, as someone with a PhD in biology and a MSc in toxicology, there is nothing in that recent study that makes me concerned tampon use could increase the levels of these compounds in my body.

he pushed past his secret service detail multiple fucking times to pump his fists and yell something (maybe "fight?") he is so fucking gassed that this happened
Apparent gunshots reported at Trump rally in Butler, PA, just now. Trump's ear appears bloodied as he's taken off-state. In the video, Trump is speaking, then there are some pops, then Trump touches his head, then everyone jumps on the ground. He pumped his fist a few times while leaving.

Now that people are starting to be aware of the right wing horrors in Project 2025, Facebook, Instagram and Threads have started tagging posts about it as “partly false information,” citing right wing propaganda site The Dispatch as a “fact checker.”

We're in big trouble since most Republicans were too cowardly to commit to Trump's first coup, which helped it fail, but then there were precisely zero consequences for trying to take over the government, so this time they'll all sign on and it'll be a lot harder to deal with.
Project 2025 authors at the Heritage Foundation are already alleging the next election will be stolen, claiming any result other than a Trump victory in November will have been the result of fraud and will be challenged.

This is an awesome discovery! The planet is tidally locked to its star, so the same side always faces the sun. That's why it'd have that 'eyeball' look--the sun's concentrated heat would melt the ice there that otherwise blankets the world.

End result: Since there is now a nonzero chance of costly legal proceedings if you EVER advertise on X and then move ads elsewhere, you should never risk it by advertising on X. Some A.G. like Bailey out of Missouri would LOVE to bankrupt some local business because they didn't pay Elon/X enough.

Like Google ruining search to push “AI,” corporations have become incentivized to damage their own products to chase investor trigger words. There’s no long-term strategy, only short-term gains. An entire economy of pump-and-dump companies.
WBD's stock price has tanked ~78% since David Zaslav was announced as CEO— $32.68 on 05/19/21 to $7.32, today— to say nothing of the brand loyalty, goodwill, & creative talent he's destroyed. It is amazing & genuinely horrifying that anyone could fail this badly, & remain in a position of authority
