Gamergate. Again. Followed by anti-woke gurus, and increasingly inflected by QAnon. Again. As ridiculous as it is, that's a big part of the answer to how we got here, with Gamergate marking the moment dumb internet culture warring invaded real life, with big, real-world impacts.

Paul Pelosi's attacker said in court today he got into politics through Gamergate. He would listen to right-wing podcasts for hours at a time, and developed a hitlist: Gavin Newsom, Tom Hanks, Hunter Biden, and a women's studies professor he learned about from Conceptual James.

What I really want to know is why AdamDriver.com was registered in 2005. Juilliard standard practice to reserve sites in the names of students, maybe? Would've been super on the ball for the time.

So I don't think it's wrong for people to be disgusted by the Tucker ancestral family's slave-owning past, BUT I just want to know what they want Joanne to do about it. Reparations, presumably, and fine--sounds fair. But she's not nearly the most senior member of that family. She's not in charge..
