Uh wrong, actually all food is either sandwich or yoghurt. Pasta isn't a sandwich, so it's a yoghurt, and noodles aren't a yoghurt, therefore making it a sandwich.

If you're substituting lasagna sheets into your ramen you've gone so badly wrong you could only be american or german
in german they say nudeln/knödlel when referring to pasta and they emigrated to the us centuries before the italians. if the italians got there first there is no way americans would call pasta noodles
