I love seeing a large colony of turkey tail mushrooms marching up the buttressed base of a dead tree in a December wood. Bonus points if the buttress is mossy.

What kind are those? We were out yesterday in the woods and harvested 5 bags' worth of oysters.
What a fortune! These are Turkey Tail mushrooms, they’re medicinal, though I didn’t collect them
If you walk up those, you get to the Real cemetery, but don't bury anything there!
