One thing I do if stuck on a scene is write the crappy version, then a few days later write another version without looking at the first, then write a third a few days after that. Usually, in the combining of different versions, I get to a good rough draft.

Good morning, I wrote you all a ghost story. It's about the movies Ghost & Ghostbusters, and NYC after a pandemic. I've spent the last 3 1/2 years writing this--it was one of the harder things I've written in quite some time, and I hope you enjoy it.
