That's the most common cop excuse, yes. Amazed no jurisdiction has tried to legalize but explicitly carve that out as probably cause. (maybe Canada, since smoking it in a car is always illegal. First arrest made 30 minutes after the law changed.)

Boston Globe has a dickhead problem

From the article: "There's no dispute that Massachusetts is losing residents for multiple reasons. Evidence that the millionaires tax is accelerating the loss? It’s only anecdotal so far." So the Globe opinion writer is telling OPPONENTS of the millionaire's tax to SHUT UP until we get more data.

Given that The Globe is paywalled & thus, may as well be rag mag in my day to day opinion, I actually really appreciate this comment. I wondered if that might have been a potential takeaway. Of course they could have been taking the centrist/centre-right approach, but just as easily…🤔
