I think the freakout has been absurd and overblown and far more damaging than the debate itself, which would have been survivable if everyone had been willing to circle the wagons and push back on it

What I don't understand is why is the Democrat party freaking out over his competency? I know people are saying that he did poorly against Trump. Did Trump really do any better standing there lying his face off? NO. Yet the Republicans are still saying this is our guy.
