Biden could have had a better performance on style/optics. But on substance, he did make a solid argument for himself, despite Trump’s barrage of lies. And I’m going to fight hard to elect him because of his record of policy achievements and Trump’s record of horrors. Not because of debate optics.
I fully agree with you that responding to Trump’s golf nonsense was a dumb decision Biden made in the debate. It’s also not the only thing he said in the debate, and even the entire debate is not as his first term record, which is good, and stellar compared to Trump’s. Let’s fight to reelect Biden.
