I was listening to Jelani Cobb being interviewed and that man sounded very tired and exceedingly proud.

Aww, that's great. Did he confirm that he was threatened with arrest? I've been wondering

I've seen no credible reporting that he was threatened with arrest. And he was giving TV interviews to various outlets during the night of the raid. I suspect the answer is either: (1) no, he wasn't threatened with arrest; or (2) it happened on a different night.

I keep meaning to go back through the recording of WKCR's broadcast and find the clip where they described the interaction—I *believe* that's the source of this story

Yes, I was listening on Tuesday night for hours. WKCR did say that he was also threatened w/arrest.

But, in the interview w/him on CJR he said that he wasn't personally or individually threatened w/arrest, the cops said it to a group of ppl of which he was a part. But still...it's bs that the NYPD would tell them that.
