On the plus side the situation hasn't drastically changed since before the decision. Biden has to win again or this is all over.

On the contrary, it's much easier for Biden to win now because he can legally assassinate all his opponents.

The threat alone should be enoough!

Not legally, because: 1. the decision doesn't purport to make crimes committed by the President legal, it just makes them very difficult to punish; 2. the court kept control of when it does and does not apply, and clearly will not give Biden a pass; 3. though the court said it, it's not the law.
