Biden didn’t get up and perform athletic feats but it seems like a pretty normal interview from an old guy? This is the single greatest moment of political derangement I have ever witnessed in this country. The president gives a normal interview and everyone says… he must join Nixon and resign?

I have no idea the best path re Biden but I do know a solid week straight of “Biden Old” and “Rich Dems Worried” above-the-fold stories are *obscene* in the face of SCOTUS using the Constitution to wipe their asses purely in the service of reinstating a felon rapist as president. Three things that are true: 1) I did not support Biden in the 2020 primary 2) I thought Biden looked like a reanimated corpse at the debate 3) I have every confidence that he is fully capable of being President, and the New York Times and other outlets are fucking him to goose readership

I am just Some Guy but it definitely has compelled me to get way more vocally supportive of Biden in defense, just because of how obvious it is that this is ratfuckery from the bad guys and their painfully stupid patsies in the press

a thing to remember, in all of this horror, is that these are not the actions of a political party that is confident it represents the will of the people, and who is currently out of power and enslaved to a deeply flawed avatar. the struggle is not over and they have not won

The Court ruling today is terrible but expected. I will just gently remind everyone that the election hasn’t happened yet. We shouldn’t assume the worst outcome as a foregone conclusion. That only encourages more apathy than many are already feeling.

The really bitter irony here is that SCOTUS is making the president a king while a Democrat is president. They aren't worried about it because they know Democrats won't accept Biden actually acting the way they are saying he can.
