Don’t we need thoughtful left-leaning people to enter into “right” ward spaces? I feel like being a source and being a customer involve different considerations.

Both interviews were about science and not politics, so my voice would not sway anyone in that way. But it would add credibility to a paper which, recently, has become increasingly supportive of fascism.

It's a cliche, but the news/science beat are separate from the opinion section and generally strive to do a good job.

There comes a point where that doesn't matter -they're providing camouflage not mitigation.

What if they let you waterboard the publisher? After all, they don't seem to think it's torture.
