Oh I can tell you a lot more about colorpoints. My late cat was one, too.
Colorpointing is temperature-sensitive albinism, where the color only appears at the coolest points of the body. There are three different intensities of it, and colorpoint cats tend to darken all over with age.
Colorpoint cats in colder places also tend to have darker bodies than colorpoint cats in warmer places.
Siamese-type colorpoint is the one with the lightest body color.
This website (not https, unfortunately) has some of my favorite easy-to-understand information about cat coat genetics. With pictures.

And if you follow the link at the bottom there is tons more info.
And this is my late cat, Grizabella (Belly).
(Aoife was gorg!)
I am an Autistic cat person who somehow now has two dogs and zero cats. I rarely get to infodump about cats anymore these days. It's exciting to get the opportunity.
Man I been hemmin and hawin over this one. I bet if I play it a great cat politics upheaval will occur. I have one that talks back to cat sounds from games like he knows the actor cat and they're talking pure smack.
Prolly gonna buy it.
There is/was a website called meowmania that just made a different cat noise every time you clicked and my ex used to absolutely confuse her dopey old man cat with it. Idk what the cat sounds translated to but he would go between really alarmed to “but where is cat?” hunting behind the laptop
oh! if you’re on PC, you hit the A and D keys back and forth rapidly. i know when i started playing i couldn’t figure out what to do, i was annoyed and felt like it wasn’t very user friendly but actually i was just very tired because the next day i watched a video and from then it was a breeze
if you catch her in the morning, she might melt into your arms or lick you aggressively but in an affectionate way, also treats really get her going, there is no greater high for her than a delicious treat
