Hi new (to me) food group feed! 🍜 Put together my fav baguette topping combo tonight: goat cheese, fresh mint, bit of pepper, walnut, and honey. Used hot honey on it for the first time, and wow. Making this combo as a thin crust (no red sauce) pizza tomorrow since I’ll have more time. #food

Tonight's dinner 🍜🍽️: Jarlsbergtorsk - a Norwegian dish of cod topped with leek, tomato and jarlsberg cheese. Served with dilled potatoes. Cheese and fish isn't always a great combination, but this was lovely and really easy to make.

Today in our #plantbased kitchen: A batch of sweet potato gnocchi! Once they're cut into shape with the spatula I roll them on the back of a fork to give them some texture, and refrigerate before cooking. Serve them with your favourite sauce! 🍜

Tonight's dinner all came from the grill: pork chops, corn (street corn adjacent by coating with extra popper filling after grilling) and jalapeno poppers. The corn was from our CSA and the peppers were grown in our back yard. 🍜

It's mulberry season. Foraged 2 quarts to juice and then realized I still have leftover mulberry juice from last year. So I offered them to the chickens who did not demonstrate anywhere near enough gratitude. 🌱🍜🍽
