Yeah definitely. One in Boston has a creepy "Hello!" interjected at the start of the song to get attention.

There’s at least one truck using it that goes through my neighborhood here in Detroit, too. It’s like halfway between a friendly “hello” you’d use to answer a phone, and a condescending one you’d use to reprimand someone not understanding basic instructions. I hate it so much

One of my musician friends drove an ice cream truck for a bit when we were younger and he found the funkiest track and would ring the physical bell to play on top of the beat. I think he had about 20 tracks to choose from.

For some wonderful reason the ice cream truck in the neighborhood my wife grew up in barrels around the corner playing the theme to The A-Team.

One was going through our neighborhood the other day playing a sad-sounding melody. It turned out to be the theme from Love Story. 🤷🏼‍♀️
