This is the opposite of Constitutional Law. If all it takes to abandon the Constitution is for some people to believe something, then the Constitution is meaningless and our courts should never apply it in any situation.

I can tolerate Riley and Robin because their scholarship is in fact good, but Moyn, SJ and the rest are just mid-level dorks. Hell, I'll read Brenner, just because he's interesting, even if he's pretty wrong about a bunch of stuff.
Been reading about her today and according to a blog I found from a friend of hers *5 years ago* the signs were there, I guess the people around her just ignored it until the text messages where she said "i'm a nazi, and black people are aliens" came out.
to me this particular interjection is just like saying there was practical prez immunity anyway, since we can all see there were live questions for the courts to consider. so no big deal.
"What if the thing where presidents are allowed to murder people who are brown and in other countries, even if they are us citizens, is bad because the president can't kill everyone? Huh did you think about that?"
Ahhhhh! Its bad because the president shouldn't be able to murder anyone!
