"clue" originally meant "a ball of string" (spelt clew) since Theseus used a ball of string to find his way out of the Minotaur's labyrinth, "clue/clew" became a metaphor for "thing that helps you solve a puzzle" or "thing that points you in the right direction"

The social aspect will keep playing longer than I ever did (like the original Ultima Online or early Star Wars Galaxies). After a while, I just get bored. I want a Limited Multiplayer Online game : 4-6 of my friends playing adventures through a larger story arc. Nobody has made a good one yet.

Wow, a "couple". I did the MMO tour a long time ago and most of them lost my interest around the level 15 time-frame (usually when you start seeing the treadmill for what it is and pay-to-win starts becoming a necessity). I think the MMO I held out for the longest was GW2. Treadmill hidden better.

On our current trajectory? Unlikely. Next 10-20, without change, is definitely going to be trying for a many parts of the world. Extinctions will have knock-on effects on food-chains. Fresh water will be commodified.

RIP to the JPN voice of Major Motoko Kusanagi, Atsuko Tanaka. One of the best to do it. She even reprised the character in the Japanese dub of the live-action film. What an absolutely legendary run as this character and many others.
