I also feel it was the right choice. The cis folks I brought with me were even more devastated than I was.

That's why I keep believing that there's still time.

The ending was the saddest part for me. To see what's inside and then cover it up again would have destroyed me. I have to keep believing there is still time for the ending to not just continually wreck me.

A heavenly existence.

I Saw The TV Glow fucked me up. The film makes you feel weird and uncomfortable from the first scene and it never stops. Every moment is eery and liminal, and you feel like you are slowly being buried alive or losing your mind. By the time it's over you might not be sure if you are a real person.

So yeah, super relatable, lol. There were many times where I was struck by how closely the movie mirrored my own life experiences. I highly recommend it, though it is one of those movies you might only ever be able to watch once.

Fucking sucks. I'm sorry. I've been blocked by pastors, uncles, and friends, and it always hurts.

The fact that this is even being debated is ridiculous. Transitioning has given me all sorts of benefits, but the impetus that drove me to finally even consider it as an option was the realization that I could be hot. And that's my favorite part of being a trans woman! I am just hot all the time.
