Are exit polls the same as they are in the USA? Or are they more official over there? I know nobody really pays attention to them here

No, this is a relatively very good number of seats for them given that their vote is very inefficiently distributed.

The election is first past the post like most US elections. This would be like the Libertarians or Constitution Party winning a bunch of House seats.

One seat is one too many for them.

They don't even need a coalition at this point, they can just run their own government
