We need more, but credit where due: both The Nation (June 2024 issue) and Boston Review have run a breakdown of the Project 2025 “Mandate for Leadership” document. Media Matters, too. Lots of good work going on digesting this. www.bostonreview.net/articles/ins... www.mediamatters.org/project-2025
Where are the columnists who are experts in specific fields, breaking down what the Heritage Foundation + Trump want to do to each individual federal agency? E.g. I read the section dedicated to our intelligence agencies, and had to stop, since I was starting to feel a little nauseous.

I subscribe to the theory that in your soul, you are all of your ages at any one time; accumulated injuries to your joints, however, tend to age linearly
one reason I feel grateful that my 20s (self-inflictedly) sucked ass is that when ppl post this stuff about being 30 or 35 it’s incomprehensible to me. Every part of my life, including physical stamina & athleticism, was better at 35 than at 18, & it’s bizarre that anyone thinks this isn’t standard

Most good writers don’t have good writing advice. They’re just good writers, so what they say gets wrapped up in something that seems like a good idea. All of this is make-believe

It's clear on social media that no one can quite agree on what makes a sundress a sundress. So, what is a sundress? Take our poll here: www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

Honestly Biden, Harris, and Trump should all step aside in favor of my incredibly hot playlist of alternative and hip hop hits from 1984-2008 It’s time this nation was led by a series of burned CDs, each adorned in album art formatted as a Microsoft Works file and printed on a borrowed inkjet

Everyone is surprised that Generation X turned out to be so conservative on net, like the progressive kids were only rebelling against our parents. It was our peers too! Ron DeSantis, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Brett Kavanaugh are practically lesser cast members from Heathers

I like Business Insider, but it is a strange publication. It's got breaking tech news mixed in with relationship timelines. I can't quite figure out who it's for. It seems like the criterion for publication is "would an extremely online 45-year-old professional want to pay for this?"

Breaking news: President Biden and his senior team said they accepted the grim ultimatum they’ve been hearing from almost all quarters of the Democratic Party — to demonstrate his fitness for office or face a significant effort to force him to step aside.
Biden and aides concede he needs to quickly demonstrate his fitness for officewww.washingtonpost.com Critics have been shaken by his relative inaction to directly address the panic ignited by his halting debate performance last Thursday.
