I think vacuum decay is something that could happen at any time, but nothing's caused it yet. Same level of concern as when dudes thought nukes might ignite the atmosphere, thankfully we know that doesn't do it now. Both things too big to be worried about.

It is very on brand that our natural constants are such that there is no clear answer either way at the moment, just a "perhaps" :)
