I don't want to read something no-one has written. I don't want to look at something no-one has drawn. I don't want 'Happy Birthdays' no-one has wished me. And I don't want this destructive, thieving, soulless nontent sending our power and water usage into ever-more critical levels. #fuckAI

There's an interesting problem in digital preservation, which is that preservation only exists actively. Only the things you actively move to new formats, survives. Community is probably the same way: it has to be actively maintained in order to outlive whatever spot it's currently in.

I wonder if reporters know that Wikipedia hallucinates too?? And since they so often consider Wikipedia authoritative, that means reporters and their publications hallucinate as well.

Georgia just made bail funds illegal. IANAL, but I would think there could be First Amendment challenges to the provision making it a crime to bail out more than three people in a year. www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

One funny thing about them choosing Mozart is that Wolfgang's sister Nannerl was also a famous prodigy who toured until she reached marriageable age. For as long as she shared his circumstances, she blossomed too. There's always been ample evidence that talent is not rare, but economic support is.
We likely already have more than a 'thousands Mozarts,' but many lack the time or financial resources to express their talent, often working for minimum wage at disgusting companies like Amazon.
