the general vibe at the moment

Having moved to a smallish-to-mid-size town whose name is extremely strongly associated with a single historical event esp in US history makes it really hard to google shit abt my new town 😅

Felt dehydrated around dinner time so made myself a litre of green tea and drank it. Wide awake at quarter to 3 in the morning, I'm beginning to suspect I may have chosen poorly 😭

It's so rude when the audio sketch show you were consuming like a bag of popcorn suddenly ends. What is this nonsense? Why are there not sixteen more seasons of this to keep me entertained while I do menial tasks? How do you expect me to do laundry now??

Oh also I got to try out the travel backpack I was given for Xmas. It's hand luggage sized, zips open on the side like a suitcase, and has straps that can hide in a side pocket. Combined it with packing cubes and it worked great! Good solution for short trips where you'll be living out of your bag 🎒

Sorted through some old stuff today and hey, quitting the uni course my parents wanted me to do to go abroad and study something they didn't get but still judged did not feel great. Sometimes it takes you 16 years to figure out how not-great something felt, but yeah. Support your kids, folks.

Started T on a low dose late March. First dose was too low, I noticed nothing, so I went up a bit late April. I feel like it's good? Lots is happening so it's hard to pinpoint what exactly is causing the mood upswing, but there is correlation. Also my voice is starting to get a bit scratchy 😂

Doctors will just call you during office hours & expect you to be able to pick up, and get pissy when you ask them for a time window when to expect the call. I'm in meetings five hours of eight per day! You really want to keep calling at random times till you get lucky? Best of luck to you I guess 🤷🏼

Themed premiere not as easy to make as hoped, love the idea but the two braincells I have left at the end of the day may not have the processing power needed to get timing & clip selection right, aah 😭 Will continue trying, we'll see 🤞

#petHealth Cat feeling better & eating this morning, yay!

#petHealth Outdoor cat went out after food, acting normal, and came back 30 min later to hide in the bathroom. He seems nauseous & refuses to eat. I expect him to be fine in the morning bc I observed him for ~45 min and he seemed to relax rather than get worse, and we called the clinic to be sure.
