It’s the first election after a coup attempt and the coup plotters are using democratic means to try to retake power. We probably don’t talk about that with enough clarity.

Reading a story about the election that casually referred to "Biden's slide in the polls" and it just remains remarkable to me that narrative reporters can just drop stuff like that into copy and never think twice about whether it has any basis in fact.

I’d been drawing variations of this guy for 25 years or so (pretty sure I was inspire by Jack Pumpkinhead from the Oz cartoon that came out in the early 70s that i saw bits of when I was 8) - sculpted on an iPad, printed on a resin 3d printer
