The cheapest, most stupid ad style is where you get some celebrities to act weird and off-script while a voice over narrator says "come-on guys!" and then gives up and just announces that they'll tell you about the deal themselves.
There's a show in the Bay Area called "Like It or Not" that is just some no-name local station nobodies riffing for a half hour. They are out of shows to sell advertising for.
This is good, but I wish it addressed the tolerance of intolerance. It's small comfort to say liberalism wins in the long run while people are hurting today at the hands of non-liberalism.
