We must immediately send troops to the affected region to monitor the situation and enforce the rule of law. The secret service and the FBI should be assisted. They're a security threat to themselves. We can't be having that in 2024. Totally unacceptable.

Today dementia is respecting barriers and feeling calm. She’s switched 100% to calling me mom, and she’s called 11 by my name several times so I think that’s also a permanent change. Yesterday was a really hard day for all of us, so I’m glad today is off to a gentle start.

When the doctor says grandma has sixth months to live, we head to the water park. My mom had a wonderful day just enjoying the lazy river and an outrageously decadent (and $$$) churro funnel cake. She’s at the stage of dementia where she’s unaware she’s dying and that’s such a blessing

I want to remind everyone going to Pride tomorrow that a lot of the chuds you see will be looking for CONTENT. They will be trying to get a big reaction out of you that they can film, which leads to monetized views for them. If you engage with them, you lose.

We are doing much better now Alhamdullilah. We saw so much beautiful nature today I can’t help but be sad that humans are so lost as a species that we are forced to focus on survival in a capalist cypher. I just want to watch the deer in meadows eating grass and try to count all the birds we see.

UPDATE: More than 40 protesters were arrested on OSU’s campus last night.

According to a faculty member, the Columbus Police have destroyed the encampment on Ohio State’s campus. At least 10 people were arrested. Cops got very aggressive — something the department is notorious for — and, at one point, a Muslim woman’s hijab was ripped off while she was being arrested.

That actually should say facism but honestly autocorrect is right about how much people care about racism when they hated trump vs now.

They charged this Emory professor with battery for asking an officer “what are you doing?” when they were brutalizing a student protester. Just viciously threw her on the ground and then charged *her* with a crime.
